Hi Mac,
The lapwings are about the same size as the partridges, it’s their wings that are unusually wide at the end. Will keep the placing of the comments in mind for the next video.

Everything was done with iMovie ’09. The background music is available in the iMovie library, the photos were imported from iPhoto. I was a complete n00b last week when it came to iMovie, but I made the video in little over 8 hours, including figuring out the YouTube settings.

I keep telling myself I don’t need an iPad, but they just look awesome. Think I will participate in any game/lottery to win one.

@Els Crick Bedankt Els. Het lijkt me doenbaar om zowel een Nederlandstalige als Engelstalige video uit te brengen. Je bent niet de enige met die opmerking.

That is FANTASTIC !!!! and the Lengths were “just right”♥
Man, those Lapwings must be BIG, yes? I mean the flying adult..
ONLY Suggestion: Put your sub-titles on the Left side..
cuz the youtube logo is covering some of your names
but I could still read thru it.. just a thought for Perfection.

May I ask where you got your back ground music?

And your switch from Flickr/Flash to iMovie/youtube is PERFECT…
You may need to teach me now…
This way your videos WILL be Visible even on an iPad etc………
I took a FREE 2hr class yesterday for the iPad and WILL be getting the
64GB G3 version…you “would LOVE” it actually.. I didn’t think I would really… but with $500 free and just paying the difference and
NO Contract for the G3 part but just a month to month.. it’s perfect
for just when you want it…like backup insurance..

I need to switch my photo website cuz it has some flash also..

Just to “clarify”…. you did ALL of this in iMovie ???
Did your photos have to be in iPhoto First or just in a folder as jpgs?

Fijne video Johan, ik heb er van genoten; het straalt rust uit, en je leert tegelijk iets bij. Je hebt voldoende tijd om de woorden en beelden tegelijkertijd te kunnen opnemen naar mijn mening. 1 kleine opmerking (kritiek): misschien kan je in de toekomst de namen van de vogels ook in het vlaams vermelden, daar sommigen (zoals ik) onvoldoende hierover kennen, maar we geïnteresseerd zijn. Voor de rest top!
